- The service does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial or emergency advice. Nothing generated in a conversation should be relied upon as professional guidance of any kind.
- If you are in distress or facing an emergency, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency service. Companion conversations are not a crisis resource.
- You agree to use the service lawfully and not to submit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or that sexualises minors in any way. Such use terminates your right to access the service immediately.
- You agree not to attempt to elicit explicit sexual content, illegal instruction, or material that violates the published content standards of the service.
- You agree not to interfere with the operation of the site, including automated scraping, denial of service, credential stuffing, or attempts to bypass access controls.
- You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring that you hold the necessary rights to any material you paste into a conversation.
- All text, layout, code, imagery, character names and character writing on Okcupid remain the property of the operator and are protected by applicable intellectual property law.
- You may quote short extracts of published pages for review or commentary with attribution. Bulk reproduction, resale or republication of profiles, portraits or written material is prohibited.
- Conversation output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, inconsistent or unsuitable for your purposes. No warranty is given as to accuracy, originality or fitness for a particular use.
- The operator may add, modify, suspend or withdraw companions, pages and features at any time without prior notice.
- The service may be unavailable during maintenance or as a result of circumstances outside the operator’s reasonable control, and no guarantee of continuous availability is made.
- Where the site links to third-party destinations, those destinations are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, and the operator accepts no responsibility for their content.
- Any paid features, where offered, are described at the point of purchase, and the terms presented there apply in addition to these terms.
- The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
